Business Opportunity
Becoming an Independent Sales Associate in Tidings of Love, Inc. is the first step in creating a business for yourself that provides the flexibility to set your own working hours and style and to design your business as you are led, within the policies of the Company. You are free to create a business that can grow with you and that can change as you change. Should you decide to sponsor, it is possible to achieve leadership positions of Leader and Director in the Company. Even though you are in business for yourself, you are not in business by yourself. You will have a sponsor and a group of Associates in your downline who can help, support, and encourage.
Our Company is a multilevel direct sales company. Each new Associate is brought into the Company by a sponsor, who encourages and trains the new Associate. Your sponsor will help you join the Company, teach you how to order product, and mentor you throughout your time with the Company. She is available to answer your questions about policy and practices, and it is her job to communicate with you about news from homebase. To compensate her for her training efforts, she earns commission on your sales. Additional upline support from your Leader(s) and Director is available when you join the Company. We are all committed to helping you with your new endeavor in faith.
Once you become an Associate and receive your startup kit and/or materials, your business is yours to design.
There are two startup kits available for new Associates; the Celebration Startup Kit, which includes the current bestselling products in our inventory, and the Jubilee Startup Kit that includes the Gentleness Tack. Business Aids, Manuals, and Training Material are also included in both Startup Kits.

There are many ways to present your products and the business opportunity to others. Some Associates prefer the "wear and share" method, talking with someone about the pin the Associate is wearing and using the opportunity to talk about the pin and its message. Others organize fundraisers for organizations and donate a portion (or all) of the proceeds to the organization. Some Associates make many contacts and sell their products at craft shows, trunk shows and open houses. There are many ways to use these beautiful products to share the message of God's love with others, and TOL encourages each associate to respond to God's plan for her and her business.
One of the favorite methods of reaching a group of people at one time is the "angel gathering." This is a gathering of friends who get together to socialize, share, and look at the beautiful products. Usually Associates display the products and talk about them briefly, and some Associates have an on-the-spot style show, asking guests to model some of the pins and products. Each gathering takes on the tone of the group that has gathered, and many gatherings are a special opportunity to share Christ's message and touch those who are gathered as well as to present the Company and its products to a group of friends. "For where ever two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." - Matthew 18:20. For those who hostess these gatherings for Associates, Jane has designed special gathering angel pins so that the Associates can present one of these pins to the hostess at the gathering.
